Note From Mike

As you are putting the rides together I would like to ride this Saturday but I need to be close to home since we have a family reunion that I need to attend.

Next Saturday (Aug 7) I need to be in Ogden around 8:00am for a race-for-life walk to benefit my wife’s sister.

If you can accommodate these requests I would appreciate it. If not, I understand.

If you want to do a Montpelier to Afton and back to Montpelier on either Aug 14 or 21 I would be available to drive.

August 28 is the CV century ride.

I will be in Alpine Junction on September 4 and plan to ride the last stretch into Teton village and part way back if anyone wants to join.

  1. On the Aug 28 on the CV Century we will meet at the park ride the century eat in Richmond and then ride home.

Not sure what close is but I would like to do the tour of two states. Starting at 6:00 and climbing Logan Canyon first then around. That ride is about 140

The tour of two states sounds good too!

I will be out all next week for a High Adventure Camp.

I was wondering if anyone has ever done Huntville to Hogle Zoo via Morgan, East Canyon and Emmigration. I think it is somewhere in the vacinity of 60 miles. If we wanted to add a few more miles we could start in North Ogden or if we really wanted a challenge we could start in Cache Valley :-).

  3. My thought was to meet the family in the Afternoon at Hogle Zoo. I checked the total Mileage and it is about 117 miles from My house add 2.5 miles from the aquatic center. There would be 4 major climbs. the toughest climb would be going up Emigration but the downhill would be worth it :-).
